POETICON has a privacy policy in place for the protection of the privacy of the personally-identifiable information that may be collected from you as you use the Site. The policy conforms to the Greek Law on personal data protection and the use of such data in electronic communication means (Law 2472/97 and Law 3471/2006, and their amendments: Law. 3783/2009 and Law 3917/2011) and the corresponding European Parliament and Council Directive 95/46/EC (and its amendements: Regulation (EC) No 1882/2003) and the Privacy Protection and Electronic Communication Directive 2002/58/EC.

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you fill out a form, subscribe to newsletters, events, contests or other content and when registering on our site. In all such cases you are informed of the nature of the data collected and whether or not providing the data is compulsory by informative notices displayed at the time the data is requested from you on the Site. The personally-identifiable information collected may consist of a unique access ID and contact information such as name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers.

POETICONdoes not disclose your personally-identifiable information to third-parties, with the following exceptions:

1. As required by judicial, regulatory or administrative proceedings of any nation, state, or other applicable jurisdiction;

2. if, in the sole discretion of POETICON, disclosure is required to protect the Site, POETICON, or its Management and Research Teams;

3. Aggregate non-personal information which is shared with any sponsors of the Site in order to describe the demographics of users who see the sponsors' logos on the Site.

4. Information that you post or otherwise publish on the Site in discussion rooms, survey responses, etc., which are made publicly available on the Site.
